Lessons of grace in the daily life of a forty-something woman.
Rena Gunther is the proud wife to Joe {the most patient man on the planet} and mother of three daughters—Cammie, Courtney and Sophie. She is also grandmother A.K.A. “Nanny” to Cammie’s son, Gavin. Cammie is in the National Guard. Courtney is a Freshman at LSU. Sophie—her tubal-reversal miracle—is in Kindergarten.
She loves chocolate, Diet Coke, the ocean, her family and most of all Jesus Christ. And she also loves to write. Much of her time is spent “Nanny”-sitting and the balancing act of parenting a small child, maintaining her role as mom to two adult daughters and grand-parenting. In the midst of hectic daily life, she strives to make her marriage priority.
While it doesn’t replace her role in her local church body, being part of an online community of Christian women has become a vital part of her daily walk with Christ. At insert grace here you’ll find lessons learned, both small and great, funny and not so funny. But always, always. . .
grace.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. ~ Hebrews 4:16 ~

Your sister referred me here. I love the title. I am new to the blogging world and trying to get a grasp. I noticed your pics of snow. We lived in central LA two years ago. What a surprisingly nice place to live. Thought I would say hi, and introduce myself. See you around.
It is a pleasure to “meet” you, Rena! Hopefully one day soon we can grab a coffee or something!
Love, love your blog. Your heart is amazing!
