Psalm 27:1-3
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
Dear Trey,
Know that we love you and will miss you terribly. We place you in the hands of Almighty God and trust that He will be a fortress around you.
Your wife and son are in His care as well. The word Mizpah in Genesis 31:49 means “The LORD watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another.” We trust that He will indeed watch between you and Cammie while you are absent one from another.
Though our hearts ache for your absence they also swell with pride for the man you have become. Go forth in His Power and His might and do the great things He has called you to do.

Dear Trey, Cammie & Gavin,
We pray that God watches over you and keeps you safe, Trey.
I pray that God will give Cammie the strength she will need while you are away.
It seems like overnight you have become a man and now you have a family of your own.
Although, we don’t see ya’ll as much as we would like, all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are so proud that you have chosen to serve your country and defend this land.
You are teaching your son by example. We are proud of you. We will miss you. Be safe.

What an amazing family you have, Rena. I’ll be praying for Trey as he serves our country and for Cammie and the baby as they miss him. He’s making a difference in our world, and Gavin can grow up knowing that his father is a hero.
