No, doesn't involve the red cross, I sent your mom an email with my phone number on it, so you guys have hopefully gotten somewhere with this. He always needs to go to his command, that is who gets the ball rolling for him.

Ugh. I remember my brother bringing one of these home from parenting class. The cat would climb up in the baby carrier and sleep on it!

Jennifer,
Please do look into this for me! We are still trying to figure things out right now. This still applies to soldiers in training? And does it involve the Red Cross?

Just some FYI, and I'm honestly not sure who he would have to go through to get this done, but the Army does have something called paternity leave. It's 10 days of NON CHARGEABLE leave, which means the Army can't take it away from his "vacation" time. It has to be taken all together, the 10 days cannot be broken up, and he has up to 45 days after the baby's birth to take it. At any rate, if you are interested, I could ask Darryl about it and find out which AR (Army Regulation) it is and who Trey needs to talk to about it.

Abundant blessings to them and we are all looking forward to seeing photos of Baby Gavin!
