These pictures tell the story of the uniting of
Cammie Sutton and Trey Durand
in Holy Matrimony.
One might also say Holey Matrimony.
My father asked if we were certain that he should wear jeans.
And then he saw the Groom’s jeans.
I like to call this
Our Big Fat Redneck Wedding.
But I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s a story
about two young people in love,
a Bride with child,
families blessed,
a joyous celebration,
humorous moments
and a toddler with a cell phone.
(One of these things is not like the others.)
Although there are many more photos not included,
taken by many different family members—some who are not present
in these photos—I could wait no longer to share our joy.
I firmly believe that a picture paints a thousand words.
I’ll let these tell the story.
Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Charles “Trey” Durand III—08.15.09
What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.—Mark 10:9

Congratulations Trey and Cammie! And nanny on your new redneck son. (; Who took those photos? They are really good! And Sophie looks so cool with that little phone. I also think the theme of “My Big Fat Redneck Wedding” is funny. Foxworthy approved.
Oops, haha! I did not pay attention to the last photo… Thank you for the pictures Miss Ross!
Courtney, that’s a huge compliment coming from you! You know funny!
the pictures are phenomenal and absolutely perfect! now when you said a redneck wedding i was expecting to see camo cargo pants and bad hair…i did NOT see any such thing at this BEAUTIFUL union!! congratulations cammie and trey; you have such an incredible journey ahead of you…enjoy all the footsteps that lead you through it!!
oh yeah and rena…i love you too.
Jeni, thank you so much!
I know, not really so Redneck. Trey did originally plan to wear his Army ACUs. I asked Cam if she was going to wear her maternity ACUs. Uh, NO!
Obviously he opted for something a bit more appropriate than ACUs–holey jeans!
I love you too, my friend!
Woman was created from the rib of the man.. not from his head to be above him, nor his feet to be walked upon. But from his side to be equal, near his arms to be protected, close to his heart to be loved.
~
May Cammi always feel this love and protection from her husband. May he also feel the warmth of her love toward him.
Congratulations to the entire family. xoxo

Fabulous photos–I was just about to email you today when I saw you’d had time to post.
Dear Lord, we ask that you knit these two together in a supernatural union. May their hearts learn to long for you and each other always and forever. Teach them patience, forgiveness, your kind of love, faithfulness, and compassion toward each other. Help them to learn how to sacrifice themselves for their family’s sake. What You, Lord, have joined together, let never be separated again in their hearts and souls.
Much love to your whole family, Rena.
Jennifer
I am overwhelmed with so much joy! Your love and support and beautiful words–very wise, beautiful words–mean more to me, and I’m sure Cammie, too, than you know! We are so blessed to have y’all in our lives. We really need a dinner night! I love you both!
Crying! Tears of joy! Thank you a million times, Jennifer, for this beautiful prayer! We are so blessed to have found you. “I” am so blessed! God truly ordered our paths to cross and I am so grateful!
Congrats to the newlyweds. August is a great month to get married yesterday was my 7th aniversary. I followed your link from big mama because of your comment about a redneck wedding…
the first time I met any of my husbands family was the day we got married. We got married in a dry county so they threw a tailgate party at my reception, complete with kegs in the backs of their trucks and big ole boxes of wine.
i was a bit freaked out to say the least, my parents, and grandma don;t drink, didnt figure it would kill anyone to not drink the two hours of wedding/reception…apparently I was confused.
we won a prize that thanksgiving at the first family reunion I attended because ours was the first wedding in 20 years where noone got in a fight or went to jail.
anyway, may the couple have as many happy days as we have and congrats to all.
Steff
