From personal experience I can tell you that even though the news of gaining that new title of "grandmother" can bring forth so many different emotions, this baby will be such a beautiful blessing not only to Mom and Dad, but to your life as well. Having a grandchild is so much fun! And while you won't be as hard on this child as you would your own children, you will have as many expectations for him/her. The greatest thing, you get to sow into this child's life from a very different position and as the grandmother you get to enjoy so much that we tend to miss with our own little ones...Your family is certainly in our prayers as we all welcome this wonderful new life into the world!
