I think I get it now. Twitter is the equivalent of text messaging the masses.
I am officially a “Twit”. This can’t be right. I’m a Twit? I tweet? Nothing about this sounds right. But it’s interesting. And I’m sure there will be opportunities to meet lots of people. If you’re not on Twitter, you don’t tweet, you’re not a Twit… you should think about it. Where else can you meet so many interesting people?
Maybe…
You can attend a Beth Moore Conference where you just might happen to meet… oh, I don’t know. Big Mama and Boo Mama. Which I DID! In New Orleans. The first weekend of April. I’ve been meaning to write a meaningful post on the Conference. And I will. It was beyond awesome and defiintely post worthy. I intended to add a note on this post I have yet to write about the added bonus of meeting Melanie and Sophie during the Conference.
But I’m a Twit now. I think the word fits the way I feel. It’s not enough that text messaging has changed my thought process into choppy, incoherent thoughts. Now I’m having trouble decoding my Post-It notes. I may be forgetting how to spell. U 2? U u/s what i’m talking bout?
Back to the Mamas. When Beth Moore mentioned having a couple of her friends there—Melanie and Sophie—I immediately scanned the floor around the stage and quickly spotted Big Mama and BooMama. “I HAVE to meet them,” I said and quicky explained to my nonblogging group who they were. They were as sweet and delightful as they appear on their blogs. If you haven’t stopped by their blogs, you should. While they are both down right hilarious, I find they each have a unique sense of humor that warms my soul at the end of a long day. I feel blessed for having met them.
Goodnight! g2g

I bet the conference was so much fun!! I wish I had been able to make it, especially since we go to N’awlins so often. I’m glad you had a great time, though! You know, my students twitter all the time, but I just haven’t gotten into it…but I think I’m getting there…UGH! Something else, haha!!!
Lois you have to tweet, so you can talk to me too… ha!
Rena, I am so glad you enjoyed Beth Moore with the added bonus of meeting two of your bloggy friends. How fun is that?
