Cammie saw the Midwife this morning and we heard the most wonderful sound—the baby’s heartbeat. Praise God! She is 14 weeks and one day. They moved her due date up to November 15 from November 23. We’re not sure that’s correct, though. The Midwife seemed to be having a bit of trouble calculating and rescheduling Cammie’s appointments. I’m sure Big Daddy (Cammie’s grandfather) would prefer the 15th. Thanksgiving week means hunting at the Deer Camp for Big Daddy.
The insurance claim has been filed and we are now working on Cammie’s summer courses. Please continue to pray as this can be stressful for a young woman with child and no car.
We’d much rather concern ourselves with important issues like my being called Nanny or Mimi. Poll coming soon… Be watching to cast your votes.
Thank you all for your encouragement and prayers!

I am adding this post to share his love and protection with all. For more great stories, please visit Sarah at Real Life.

Praise the Lord for the good news and protection from harm!

Now I wanna know if it’s a boy, or a girl!
Continued prayers and praise,
Ginger
I vote for Mimi.
That’s the name of my husband’s grandfather, and she is the sweetest woman ever!
OH – the name thing – my poor grandma always wanted to be mimi – but no one called her that. We called her Grandma Dese (her first name is Dese), which then got shortened to Dese. Just her first name!! Bummer!
But then we took pity on her in her great-grandma years and tried to get the great grandkids to call her Mimi Dese – it was shortened to Nama Dese. Sometimes you get what you get!! My brother’s kids have a grandpa named “Papa Woody” looks fine on paper – sounds funny out loud. Just beware…
Since you are Rena, I like Ree Ree – which rhymes with Mimi. That’s my four cents.
I’m a Believer!

Yay! I vote for Ree Ree too!!
Ok, since everyone is commenting on the name thing. You know my vote. NANNY all the way. It’s who you are. Your surname, remember? Mimi and Ree Ree are so cute, but you already have a special name that works so well. No, we are not referring to and old Nanny either people. Can you say Au pair aka Nannygirl? Ha!
Whatever you decide will be perfect! After all the boys have also been known to call you Aunt Nanny as thought this was your first name… hmm.
Oh, praise God you heard that little heartbeat! And I vote for Mimi.
